Three things happen here every week, and every one of them is free. A quiz on Wednesday and again on Sunday, and the folk session on Thursday that anyone is welcome to play.

The Wednesday quiz
Dave Albury runs the quiz every Wednesday from 8pm. Free entry, and the tables go early. Booking essential.
thursday · from 8.30pm
The famous folk session
Traditional Scottish folk music every Thursday from 8.30pm, played by local musicians. Who is here depends on who can make it on the night.
Come along and enjoy it. If you play and would like to join in, have a word with the musicians on the night.

Board games
There is a shelf of board games behind the bar. Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, backgammon, chess, Jenga, cards and more. Ask at the bar and take one to your table.

The Sunday quiz, with Goose
Hosted by Goose from 7pm. General knowledge with music rounds, free entry. It follows Sunday lunch, and the roasts sell out fast. Even if you book, we unfortunately cannot guarantee you a roast, so many tables eat early and stay on for the quiz.
